Green Neighbors Program

The Clark County Green Neighbors Program was developed and is maintained by Clark County Solid Waste and Environmental Outreach to assist citizens with developing more sustainable lifestyles and building a strong environmental community in Clark County. Solid waste regional planning and programs are a cooperative effort of Battle Ground, Camas, Clark County, La Center, Ridgefield, Vancouver, Washougal, and Yacolt. Funding for this project provided by a grant from the Washington State Department of Ecology.

Christmas at Fort Vancouver

Experience the sights and sounds of the 1840s holiday season on Saturday, December 9 from 10 am to 3 pm at Fort Vancouver. Visitors will be able to view and participate in activities undertaken by residents at the fort during the holiday season. Enjoy Wreath Making, Holiday Beverages, Caroling, and more!

Don't forget to bring your camera to capture your family in the historic Hudson's Bay Company holiday scene! Visitors are welcome to take holiday photos of the decorated fort and with costumed re-enactors. The historic ambience at Christmas at Fort Vancouver will provide a memorable old-fashioned holiday scene as visitors' modern clothing contrasts with 1840s fashions.

Cost: $5 ages 16 years and older, Free for kids age 15 and under
