The 5th Annual Catio Tour

Saturday, September 09, 2017, 10:00am - 02:00pm
Contact  503.292.6855

Don't miss this very Portland, one-of-a-kind event! The fifth annual Catio Tour will showcase ten diverse outdoor cat enclosures --- including one made with upcycled bike rims! This event has sold out each year, so get your reservation early!
Hosted by the Feral Cat Coalition of Oregon and Audubon Society of Portland, the self-guided tour seeks to inspire cat owners to build or buy their own outdoor cat enclosure so their felines can enjoy safe outdoor time. Backyard enclosures from DIY to designer keep cats safe from outdoor hazards while protecting wildlife from cat predation.

Funds from the Catio Tour support the Portland Audubon's and Feral Cat Coalition of Oregon's "Cats Safe at Home" campaign, which seeks to reduce free-roaming cats in the Portland metropolitan area in a human and environmentally responsible manner. Both organizations believe every cat deserves a safe home where it is loved, cared for, and kept free from hazards. Click here for more information about the campaign and why it matters.

WHERE: 10 cat patios located in the Portland-metro area
COST: $10 per person. 12 and under free.
