Vancouver Audubon: First of the Month Bird Walk

Monday, November 1 8:00 am - 9:00 am

Bird Walks are meant to be a casual, local morning of birding. They are a great time to enjoy birds with others, find new areas to visit, and/or work on bird identification by sight and sound or to practice your eBird app with help when needed. These walks are usually easy to join or depart at any time during the morning, no commitment to participate in the entire walk if you have limited time. Please, only fully vaccinated participants at this time.

Monday, November 1 10:00 am - 12:30 pm

Join the Washington Invasive Species Council for a webinar to learn about tree-of-heaven and spotted lanternfly, including the risk spotted lanternfly poses to Washington and how you can help. Attendees with Washington pesticide and structural pest inspector licenses will earn one recertification credit.

State agencies are asking the public to report an invasive tree called tree-of-heaven throughout October to help prevent the introduction of a harmful insect, the spotted lanternfly.

Registration is required.
