Green Neighbors Program

The Clark County Green Neighbors Program was developed and is maintained by Clark County Solid Waste and Environmental Outreach to assist citizens with developing more sustainable lifestyles and building a strong environmental community in Clark County. Solid waste regional planning and programs are a cooperative effort of Battle Ground, Camas, Clark County, La Center, Ridgefield, Vancouver, Washougal, and Yacolt. Funding for this project provided by a grant from the Washington State Department of Ecology.

Community VolunTOUR at Curtin Springs

In partnership with The City of Vancouver, Clark County Parks Department and the Audubon Society, volunteers will learn about wildlife and clean out bird, bat, and owl boxes.

Participants will meet at a different location each month on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays (times vary). VolunTOUR is great for all ages and abilities! Gloves, snacks, training, and tools are provided. Volunteers under the age of 18 should bring a signed minor consent form. Please dress for the weather and wear long pants and close-toed shoes
