Contact  503-595-0213 or
Join the City's non-profit partner, Friends of Trees, for a volunteer tree planting event in central Vancouver (or in purchasing a low cost tree for your home).

Arrive to the staging site, St. Joe’s Catholic Church, by 8:45 am to enjoy breakfast refreshments. The planting starts promptly at 9:00 am. Friends of Trees provide gloves and tools, so volunteers simply need to show up dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy shoes or boots. Neighborhood volunteers will provide a hearty potluck lunch for all volunteers after the planting.

How do I register? All individuals and groups are kindly asked to RSVP to save your spot(s) by filling out the quick Registration Form.

Have a pickup truck? We need your help getting these young trees to their planting sites a few blocks away from the central staging site. Please sign up at if you're able to help out in this key role.

Under age 18? A signed youth waiver is required for you to volunteer. We kindly request youth 15 years and younger are accompanied by an adult.

Please contact Jenny, Pablo, and Carey of Friends of Trees at 503-595-0213 or if you have questions or need any further information. We look forward to seeing you out there!
