Green Neighbors Program

The Clark County Green Neighbors Program was developed and is maintained by Clark County Solid Waste and Environmental Outreach to assist citizens with developing more sustainable lifestyles and building a strong environmental community in Clark County. Solid waste regional planning and programs are a cooperative effort of Battle Ground, Camas, Clark County, La Center, Ridgefield, Vancouver, Washougal, and Yacolt. Funding for this project provided by a grant from the Washington State Department of Ecology.

Free Leaf Disposal Coupon


Fall is coming and along with it... fall leaves! The City of Vancouver and Clark County Public Works are offering a FREE leaf disposal coupon for Vancouver and Clark County residents. When leaves are blown or placed into our community streets, they can clog drains and cause flooding. Help keep our neighborhoods safe and clean with free leaf disposal dropoff from October 1st – December 31st, 2018.


​The coupon must be presented at the drop-off site and is for LEAVES ONLY, up to 5 cubic yards. No trimmings, yard debris or mixed loads with the coupon; these items will be charged at the regular price. Leaves must be emptied from plastic or kraft bags.
