Green Neighbors Volunteer Award Winner

Green Neighbors is thrilled to announce our 2018 Volunteer Award Winner, Lee LaLone.

Green Neighbors are committed to helping move Clark County towards being more environmentally aware and sustainable. And just like the Master Composter Recyclers, they don't get paid either! They do their work in the community because it's their passion to make a positive difference. This year's winner wasn't even asked to volunteer, she just saw a need and pitched in! In addition to her volunteer work at the library and other county gardens, she put in over 400 hours just at the Pacific Park Demonstration Garden last year! We couldn't maintain our gardens without the help from volunteers such as Lee. She is a Master Gardener and participated in the 2017 Natural Garden Tour.

Congratulations, Lee! Thank you for all you do!
