Walk, ride the bus, or carpool to reduce emissions!

Pack Lunch with reusable containers! Consider ditching plastic by going old school with a metal lunch box!

Snack healthy with fresh seasonal produce from the Farmers Markets!

Get crafty with recycled materials to make school supply organizers and spruce up old notebooks and pencils! Surf Pinterest for ideas that are out of the box!

Use mechanical pencils, refillable pens, and other reusable office supplies!

Need clothes? Need shoes? Need a bag? Find some trendy threads at a thrift store and donate your old stuff! Visit our Thrift Store Map for locations around Clark County.

Does your school have a Green Team? Students can learn and make a difference with friends and parents can join the fun by volunteering! See more at clarkgreenschools.org

Support the community! Give a donation to kids in need through one of various food banks and charities collecting school supplies and food.

Stay active outside. It can be hard to sit in a classroom all day after the summer, so be sure to let the kids have some time to get some fresh air in their lungs and dirt between their toes!

Paint it green, literally! They say the color green is great for enhancing concentration. Or better yet, add some living plants to the classroom or study room to brighten the mood and freshen the air.
