Green Neighbors Program

The Clark County Green Neighbors Program was developed and is maintained by Clark County Solid Waste and Environmental Outreach to assist citizens with developing more sustainable lifestyles and building a strong environmental community in Clark County. Solid waste regional planning and programs are a cooperative effort of Battle Ground, Camas, Clark County, La Center, Ridgefield, Vancouver, Washougal, and Yacolt. Funding for this project provided by a grant from the Washington State Department of Ecology.

Loowit Brewing Eruption Commemoration

Friday, May 19, 2017, 04:00pm - 10:00pm
It's been 37 years since the big 1980 eruption of Mount St. Helens... come remember the event with Loowit Brewing and the Mount St. Helens Institute! Loowit will be releasing a new beer called "Cryptodome", a barrel-aged barleywine. There will be footage of Mount St. Helens on the big screen, prize giveaways all night and music by the great Gabriel Hess. Come learn more about Mount St. Helens and the Mount St. Helens Institute's science, education and exploration programs. Plus, Loowit will be donating 15% of the evening's proceeds to the Institute!
