Green Neighbors Program

The Clark County Green Neighbors Program was developed and is maintained by Clark County Solid Waste and Environmental Outreach to assist citizens with developing more sustainable lifestyles and building a strong environmental community in Clark County. Solid waste regional planning and programs are a cooperative effort of Battle Ground, Camas, Clark County, La Center, Ridgefield, Vancouver, Washougal, and Yacolt. Funding for this project provided by a grant from the Washington State Department of Ecology.

StreamTeam Make A Difference Day Native Tree Planting

Come make a difference with the StreamTeam! Not only will we come together as a community to celebrate the volunteer spirit but we will also plant hundreds of native trees. Be prepared to have a good time, get your hands dirty, meet new people, and make a difference in our community! Lunch is generously being provided by Chipotle, Corwin Beverage, Frito Lay, and Twin Star Credit Union.

Photographer or Videographer Needed!

StreamTeam is looking for qualified photographers and videographers who are interested in donating their time and talents to capture the volunteer spirit for our upcoming Make a Difference Day Celebration on Saturday, October 22. StreamTeam is a volunteer based program of Clark Public Utilities that coordinates stream restoration and environmental education activities throughout Clark County. We are seeking intermediate to advanced photographers and videographers interested in documenting the event. Volunteers must provide their own equipment for a great day in the field. As a thank you for time and effort, you'll receive a free lunch from Chipotle, Corwin Beverage, Frito Lay, and Twin Star Credit Union.
