February News from Clark County Green Neighbors

February 2024 ‍

Hello ,

We hope you have been enjoying the break in winter weather and the little bit of extra daylight we have been getting each day.  Spring is on its way and we cannot wait to get out into the garden and nature.  But first- Valentine's day is just around the corner.  Earlier this week we shared some amazing sustainable Valentine's day gift ideas in our blog that are sure to show the planet some love, as well as, your Valentine.  If you missed that blog post, or just want to catch up on the latest Green Neigbors news and upcoming events,  continue reading.

With love for the planet,

‍2024 Natural Garden Tour

This year, we are looking for passionate gardeners to participate in the 2024 Natural Garden Tour as hosts. As a host, you will have the opportunity to share your garden with others, demonstrating your unique approach to natural gardening. This includes but is not limited to, techniques such as native species propagation, water conservation, composting, and support of pollinators. We are particularly interested in gardens that avoid the use of synthetic chemicals, pesticides and fertilizers.

The Natural Garden Tour is happening from 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday, June 23.

If you are interested in participating as a host for this year's Natural Garden Tour, we would love to hear from you.

We are accepting applications for garden hosts through Feb. 29.
