Hello Visitor,
As we get closer to national Food Waste Prevention Week (April 1-7), we hope that you will join us in the campaign to fight food waste. This year, the Conscious Consumption Series will include a live "Cooking with Leftovers"demonstration led by Stacy Tigner-Loy from the WSU-extension SNAP-Ed program. If you haven't already followed us on Instagram and Facebook, be sure to do that now since we will also be sharing many useful tips for you to help prevent food waste at home. We strongly encourage you to share these messages with your friends, family, and co-workers as much as possible so we can all work together to be food waste prevention heroes and conserve the many valuable resources that go into food production.
The Environmental Film Series is back in 2024 with another great line up! Mark your calendars for this opportunity to learn more about environmental topics and engage with your community.
Learn about recycling right and our regional solid waste system at our free RecycleU learning opportunities: Recycling 101, Recycling 201 and Recycling Walking Tour. Check out the schedule and sign up today!
All across Clark County, people just like you are donating their time and energy to help preserve Clark County's environment and enhance the quality of life of its residents. There are many opportunities to become involved!
