Time is flying! The countdown to Food Waste Prevention Week, April 7-13, is well under way with just over three weeks to go. Why are we counting down the days to Food Waste Prevention Week? We are so glad you asked! This year, we are excited to announce that we will be hosting two fun and informative events to help engage our community in preventing food waste. If you are looking to save money on groceries, lower your impact on the environment from wasted food, or just want to have a good time learning some helpful tips to prevent food waste, then please considering joining us. More event information can be found below and don't forget to register.

This month, the Watershed Alliance Film Series will be presenting Native Seeds: Supplying Restoration on March 25. More details about the films series can be found below. Please register in advance if you plan to attend. We'll see you there!
Come join Green Neighbors from 7-9pm on April 8 as we celebrate Food Waste Prevention Week with some challenging questions to test your knowledge on topics like proper food storage, shopping and more.

Do you want to jumpstart your knowledge of composting, recycling, green cleaning and sustainable lifestyle habits? The Clark County Composter Recycler program is offering free in-person and virtual spring workshops. Â
The Watershed Alliance Environmental Film Series is back in 2025! Check out this year's stunning lineup of films that dive deep into the world's most pressing ecological and environmental justice issues.
These no cost events are hosted by the Watershed Alliance and co-sponsored by Clark County Green Neighbors, PeaceHealth, and the Vancouver Community Library.
Each event runs 5-7 pm, but doors open at 4:30 pm. Join us at the Vancouver Community Library, 901 C Street. There will be pizza including gluten friendly/Vegan options!Â
