Volunteer at Pacific Park for MLK Day!

"Anybody can be great, because anybody can serve." - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Each year, the nation comes together to honor Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a day of service.  The Day of Service was designated in 1994 and is led by the Corporation for National and Community Service, who say, "MLK Day of Service is intended to empower individuals, strengthen communities, bridge barriers, create solutions to social problems, and move us closer to Dr. King's vision of a 'Beloved Community'."

This year, join Green Neighbors for your volunteering efforts! There will be a work day at Pacific Park Demonstration Gardens from 9am-12pm, where people of all ages are invited to weed, prune, plant, and cut; rain or shine. Tools, gloves, and supplies plus snacks will be provided. We hope to see you there!

Pacific Community Park Natural Gardens are located on NE 18th St and NE 172nd Ave in Vancouver, WA.
