Green Neighbors Program

The Clark County Green Neighbors Program was developed and is maintained by Clark County Solid Waste and Environmental Outreach to assist citizens with developing more sustainable lifestyles and building a strong environmental community in Clark County. Solid waste regional planning and programs are a cooperative effort of Battle Ground, Camas, Clark County, La Center, Ridgefield, Vancouver, Washougal, and Yacolt. Funding for this project provided by a grant from the Washington State Department of Ecology.

Lantern Tour: An Evening at The McLoughlin House

Fee Information: $10 adult, $7 youth (15 and younger)

These tours are held in Oregon City at The McLoughlin House. Visitors are invited to explore the life of John McLoughlin, the Father of Oregon, at these ranger-led tours. These tours take place in John McLoughlin's original home in Oregon City, where he retired and became a person of influence in Oregon. There will be two separate, identical tours on the evening of November 5th: one at 6 pm and one at 7:30 pm. Space is limited and reservations are required. There will be no walk-in reservations. We will begin taking reservations on October 1st, 2016. Please call 360-816-6244 to reserve your spot.
