Green Neighbors Program

The Clark County Green Neighbors Program was developed and is maintained by Clark County Solid Waste and Environmental Outreach to assist citizens with developing more sustainable lifestyles and building a strong environmental community in Clark County. Solid waste regional planning and programs are a cooperative effort of Battle Ground, Camas, Clark County, La Center, Ridgefield, Vancouver, Washougal, and Yacolt. Funding for this project provided by a grant from the Washington State Department of Ecology.

Rejuvenating Your Landscape Workshop

Don’t love your home landscape? Experiencing eyesores from adjacent properties? Not sure how to incorporate new features? If so, then this 90 minute presentation is for you. WSU Extension Clark County Master Gardeners present “Rejuvenating Your Landscape” on Saturday, Mar., 4, 2017, from 10:30 to noon at the Battle Ground Community Library; 1207 SE 8th Way, Battle Ground, WA 98604.

Participants should bring four or five photos; a couple of areas they currently like about their landscape, and a couple of areas they wish to change. Also helpful for the class exercises is to download and print a copy of your property’s map.
