Join WSU Extension Clark County Master Gardeners for a work party at the beautiful, natural demonstration gardens at Pacific Community Park. Activities include installing new plants, pruning, deadheading, weeding and other projects to beautify this special garden.

The park is located at NE 18th St & NE 172nd Ave, Vancouver, WA 98684. Enter from NE 172nd. Dress for the weather and bring water. All tools are provided.

Cesar Chavez Day of Service Event at Pacific Park Natural Demo Garden

Join WSU Clark County Master Gardeners and people from across the county and around the world for a day of community service in honor of Cesar Chavez. Chavez was a civil rights, Latino and farm labor leader; a community organizer and social entrepreneur; a champion of militant nonviolent social change; and a crusader for the environment and consumer rights. Help spiff up the Natural Demonstration Garden at Pacific Park on Saturday, April 6 from 10am to 12noon. Tasks will include winter clean up, weeding, pruning and whatever else is needed. Dress for the weather. Bring water. Tools provided. April 22 is Earth Day! Show your affection for Mother Earth by joining WSU Extension Clark County Master Gardeners for a day of community service.
