GREEN BUSINESS NEWS

The Clark County Green Business program provides recognition to the businesses in our county that continually show their commitment to the environment, customers, and employees. It's been inspiring for our team to get out in the community and learn more about the work our Green Businesses are doing! Read on for information about some businesses we've been lucky to learn more about during this recertification process.

As part of Clark County's new We Compost program, Heritage Farm is now accepting food scraps for compost from the surrounding community – for free!

Residents can bring food scraps of all kinds to the green food waste carts located near the fence in the Heritage Farm parking lot. Due to increasing usage, we've now added two additional carts!

Don't let food scraps go to waste - collect scraps from holiday meal prep and festive group gatherings to drop off for compost at the 78th Street Heritage Farm.
