Green Neighbors Program

The Clark County Green Neighbors Program is coordinated by Clark County Public Health’s Solid Waste and Environmental Outreach to assist citizens with developing more sustainable lifestyles and building a strong environmental community in Clark County. Solid waste regional planning and programs are a cooperative effort of Battle Ground, Camas, Clark County, La Center, Ridgefield, Vancouver, Washougal, and Yacolt.

WSU Clark County Extension Small Acreage Program invites the community to the Seventeenth Annual Small Acreage Expo on Saturday, June 8th at the 78th Street Heritage Farm. 

This year’s Small Acreage Expo offers a variety of topics including workshops on biochar on small acreage, mud and manure management, prescribed grazing, septic system maintenance and financial resources, soil health, regenerative homesteading practices, and pasture management, as well as farm tours and demonstrations.
