Green Neighbors Program

The Clark County Green Neighbors Program was developed and is maintained by Clark County Solid Waste and Environmental Outreach to assist citizens with developing more sustainable lifestyles and building a strong environmental community in Clark County. Solid waste regional planning and programs are a cooperative effort of Battle Ground, Camas, Clark County, La Center, Ridgefield, Vancouver, Washougal, and Yacolt. Funding for this project provided by a grant from the Washington State Department of Ecology.

Make a Difference Day

Volunteer for Make a Difference Day (MADD) on Saturday, October 28 for a variety of volunteer opportunities through out Clark County.

All of these events are family friendly and offer a wonderful opportunity to give back to the community and make a difference.

LeRoy Haagen Park (NE LeRoy Haagen Memorial Drive, Vancouver, WA 98684) 4th Saturday Clean-up. Come help remove invasive English holly and Shiny geranium at LeRoy Haagen park. Volunteers will meet at restrooms. Learn more by clicking here.
