Old Apple Tree Festival

Providing family fun, food, music, and history of Vancouver’s Old Apple Tree, the festival celebrates our community and its rich heritage. This is a free event with activities for children, food for sale, apple tastings and sales, live music, cider pressing and walking tours of Fort Vancouver Village and the Land Bridge. Bring your own apples and a clean container to catch your fresh cider. Approximately 12 pounds of apples will make a quart of cider. Discover recycling and reuse options available locally for plastic bags, appliances, bulky items and more! Learn how to identify Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) and then how to safely dispose of this material in Clark County.
Please note that prior attendance in Recycling 101 is required for this class.

Vancouver Audubon Society is celebrating World Migratory Bird Day to recognize the important and spectacular feat of bird migration! This annual global celebration was created to build awareness for migratory birds, their habitats, and flyways. **CASEE Center will be opening their greenhouse to sell natives.
Guidelines:
Perennials & bulbs should be potted or in sturdy plastic bags
Fresh collected seeds in individual envelopes or baggies by variety
Viable store bought seed packets
Label items as well as possible (i.e. botanical or common name, size, sun/shade, wet/dry, bloom time, plant height)
Plants should be well watered and pest free
Please NO invasive plants

Bats: Our Backyard Buddies
